Located a little over an hour from Birmingham in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, lies one of England's prettiest shooting estates - Davenport House. This quintessential English estate has a renowned game shoot that has provided excellent shooting for several decades.
With it's dramatic views, deep valleys and historic parkland Davenport House Estate is the perfect place to offer the finest partridge and pheasant shooting in breathtaking surroundings. The highest quality driven birds, combined with the heritage and magnitude of the house makes for an experience never to forget.
The Estate covers approx. 3,000 acres & can offer single or double days back to back of 200 to 400+ pheasants. We can accommodate 7-10 guns, full teams, single guns and small groups are welcome.
On arrival you will be greeted by the shoot host with coffee/tea and champagne before the briefing and drawing of pegs. On a typical DB shooting day at Davenport House the guns meet for breakfast at 9am.
The shooting party move off shortly after 9.30am in either our gun bus or vehicles depending on requirements . The morning will consist of two drives followed by Elevenses then a further drive before lunch which is severed either in the field or back at the house.
The day is completed by a further one or two drives to achieve the required bag. At the end of the shoot day the party will return back to the house for a choice of dining options.
The hospitality in the grade 1 palladian Davenport House, is very well renowned & second to none for it's high class catering. The team of chefs produces delicious dishes using locally sourced best ingredients.
With an extensive menu that you can choose from for your Team. We also have Teams of Guns plus followers to stay for one or two nights in Davenport House for a memorable party experience.
