Sodington Hall Shoot is located on the Shropshire Worcestershire border, under one hour from Birmingham. The shoot covers the Sodington Hall Estate that is approximately 1400 acres, incorporating fantastic woodlands, banks and valleys, the perfect terrain for top quality pheasant, partridge and duck shooting.
We are able to provide 100 to 400 bird days, flexible for week day shooting and Saturday's. Sodington Hall is widely celebrated in shooting circles for showing thrilling game birds of the highest calibre. The undulating topography of the Estate helped earn its reputation and a glimpse at the game book will quickly give you a hint of the excitement when the birds fly high and fast from the magnificent Sodington drives.
The shoot offers the complete package for teams who are seeking the very best in driven shooting and hospitality.
We can accommodate 7-10 guns, full teams, single guns and small groups are welcome. There are various good accommodation options, including country house hotels, private houses and cosy pubs, which complement the whole experience of a shooting trip to this part of the country.
On arrival you will be greeted by the shoot host with coffee and tea before the briefing and drawing of pegs. On a typical DB shooting day at Sodington Hall the guns meet for breakfast at 9am.
The shooting party move off shortly after 9.30am in either our gun bus or vehicles depending on requirements . The morning will consist of two drives followed by Elevenses then a further drive before lunch which is severed either in the shoot lodge or in the field.
The day is completed by a further one or two drives to achieve the required bag. At the end of the shoot day the party will return back to the shoot lodge or one of our hospitality venues for a choice of dining options.
Full traditional breakfast or hot bacon rolls and freshly brewed coffee & tea, Sloe gin elevenses with delicious canapes, a hearty shoot lunch served in the field consisting of a locally produced menu including our very own game pies and of course more fizz, fun and refreshments.
We finish the day with a choice of fine dining back at one of our hospitality venues or nibbles and refreshments in the shoot lodge.
